Technical Sales Specialist (d/m/f)
Location: Rotterdam, South Holland, Netherlands
To strengthen our sales force, we are seeking a Technical Sales Specialist who will be responsible for:
- Promoting sales of OSRAM aftermarket products in Benelux using a specially equipped car/van (visiting customer branches, presenting and taking orders directly from selected workshops and spare parts stores if necessary)
- Ensuring development and maintenance of the customer database
- Organizing and planning visits in close coordination with customers and sales staff
- Ensuring adequate product display in the car/van
- Providing technical product training to customers
- Monitoring and analyzing the existing market to pursue sales growth opportunities
- Planning and preparing participation in product promotional events, demonstrating how products work and explaining them in detail to professional users (events organized by partner auto parts distribution companies in Benelux, weekdays and occasionally weekends)
- Collaborating with other colleagues in product quality monitoring activities, collecting feedback and processing the data into specific modules to increase product quality
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferably with experience or education in a technical field
- Proven ability to build customer relationships
- Knowledge or experience in the automotive industry preferred
- Ability to organize and conduct technical training sessions and effective presentation skills
- Excellent communication and sales skills
- Excellent organizational and planning skills
- Category B driving license
- Fluency in Dutch and English; French is beneficial
