Job Description
As a Technical Director, you will be responsible for the full technical and operational leadership of the organisation's project and service activities. You will oversee multidisciplinary teams, lead strategic project execution and ensure operational excellence across planning, engineering, project delivery and customer engagement.
Your role combines strategic development, technical leadership, operational steering and external representation. You will act as the senior technical counterpart for key customers while building a scalable operational organisation that is fit for future growth.
Technical & Operational Leadership
Full technical and operational responsibility for all project and service activities in your domain.
Leading, developing and coaching teams – both disciplinary and functional leadership.
Steering and monitoring projects to ensure quality, safety, profitability and long‑term success.
Implementing BIM, LEAN, digitalisation and other modern methodologies to drive process improvement.
Strategic Development
Developing 3-5 year strategic objectives in collaboration with the management board.
Designing and implementing future-proof processes, operational governance and organisation-wide standards.
Ensuring sustainable, long-term business success and maximising organisational value creation.
Business Development & Customer Management
Acquiring new projects and strengthening relationships with key customers.
Acting as senior representative in steering groups, working groups and external events.
Analysing market developments and identifying opportunities for growth.
Managing customer satisfaction in close cooperation with commercial leadership.
Compliance, Standards & Governance
Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, norms and internal guidelines.
Overseeing contract and variation management to protect long-term project success.
Embedding structured risk management, quality standards and safety procedures.
