Purchasing, Manufacturing, Coordination, Inventory Management, Demand Planning, Warehousing, Logistics, and Customer Service. You report to the Supply Chain Manager or in some cases directly to the Supply Chain director. Job Description During this Supply Chain traineeship, you (starter) will: Develop shipping strategies Focus on on-time delivery and support of the various entities/stores Notice opportunities for improvement in existing supply chain processes Collaborate with their various teams and external logistics stakeholders Be the right hand of the Shipping Manager/director and work closely with the buyers Forecasting in collaboration with Category/Product Managers Ensuring a thorough purchasing plan Order management and inventory control Coordination with inbound and warehousing Keeping Master data up-to-date: creation, changes to SKU’s and supplier information The Successful Applicant Bachelor – or Master’s degree in Supply Chain and Logistics Knowledge of the E-commerce, Retail or FMCG sector No experience is required, though the salary depends on experience/internships Analytical, driven, communicative and flexible 32 – 40 hours per week Fluent Dutch and English Available on short notice What’s on Offer Besides The Fact That You Usually Operate From The HQ Of Our Clients, You Shall Also Work In a Driven Team With Enthusiastic Colleagues In The Amsterdam Region.
