Global Procurement is looking for a Sr. Procurement Operations Officer.

Position & Requirements

Profile
A suitable candidate has 2 years of experience as a Procurement Operations Officer, preferably in the financial services industry. The candidate must have proven hands-on experience in (P2P) procurement processes or Workday as a procurement system. The candidate can work in a small team where knowledge sharing and collaboration are very important.

Primary tasks

  1. As a Senior Procurement Operations Officer, you are responsible for supporting Category Third Party Managers (CTPM) for a certain category of products and/or services.
  2. Maintaining correct and complete Contract- & Vendor Administration.
  3. Execute pre-defined purchase requests (Requisitions) within terms of Master Agreements.
  4. Preparing (complex) Purchase Orders (PO’s) for the CTPM.
  5. Validating invoices and resolving exceptions.
  6. Monthly Finance reporting.
  7. Acting as a backup for your colleague Operational Procurement Officers.

Knowledge and experience

  • Bachelor degree education and work level.
  • 2+ years of experience in Procurement Operations or a similar role/function.
  • Familiar with AI (Co-pilot / Chat GPT).
  • Proficient in Dutch as well as English language (written and spoken).
  • Positive, accurate, flexible, with an analytical mindset and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Can-do mentality and eager to contribute to being in control in your domain.
  • Team player with organizational sensitivity.
  • Able to spot opportunities to improve our Operational Procedures (Contract Administration / Purchase to Pay / Source to Contract).

  • Hands-on, pro-active, team player, pragmatic with a ‘can do’ mentality.
  • Good communication skills, organizational sensitivity, and ability to connect.

Additional skills

  • Creating and maintaining Operational Procedures & Working descriptions.
  • Linking pin to our IT-colleagues, coordinating system improvements on behalf of Procurement.
  • Administrator for Worldcheck by LSEG (Know your vendor software).
  • Back-up for the Team Manager on Priorities, being the first point of contact and initiating alignment calls.
