Are you a Sr. Electrical Engineer and available on short notice?
We are looking for you! You will provide Technical Assurance services related to your discipline for Site Projects executed by E&PM Europe. You will be part of the Technical Assurance Team and report to the Sr. Manager of Project Development & Technical Assurance. The TA services aim to ensure compliance with international codes, applicable standards, and sound engineering practices.
Your responsibilities include reviewing and accepting scope and engineering packages at various stages (CDP, FEED, DE) of engineering, focusing on major site projects within Europe. You will interact with E&PM Project Portfolio Managers, Engineering Alliance Project Managers, Discipline Engineers, and manufacturing project owners during the Project Development phase. The role of TA engineer is well-established within the KSA E&PM organization and is now being implemented in Europe, requiring collaboration with colleagues in KSA.
Responsibilities
- Review and technically accept CDP packages related to your discipline.
- Support manufacturing project owners in CDP development.
- Review Process Safety Verification and application for Simple Project Procedure.
- Provide technical assurance for discipline-related deliverables of FEED and IFC packages.
- Guide and support E&PM PMs and Engineering Alliance on discipline-related topics.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for your discipline within E&PM Europe.
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- At least 10 years of engineering experience, including 5 years as a lead engineer.
- Deep knowledge of general, engineering, and international standards and procedures.
- Experience with project development and execution processes.
- Understanding of engineering drawings and effective requisition processes.
- Recognized expert in your discipline with excellent knowledge of standards and procedures.
- Strong analytical skills and persuasive communication based on technical knowledge.
- Ability to translate technical skills into business benefits.
- Effective interpersonal skills and team orientation.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
- Good communication skills, capable of guiding third parties.
