In this role, you will play a key role in the internal sales process by ensuring the accurate and timely handling of customer enquiries and requests. You will prepare technical quotations, support service-related sales activities, and work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition from sales to operations. In addition, you will proactively identify market developments and commercial opportunities to support business growth.

You will contribute to excellent customer satisfaction and the growth of our Deepsea service business by delivering high-quality technical sales support and ensuring efficient and accurate order handling. The role sits within our Deepsea department, which consists of a dynamic and customer-focused team working closely with colleagues from Purchasing, Shipping, Warehouse, Service Coordination, Planning, Business Development, and Finance to deliver exceptional service and results, and reports to the Customer Service Team Lead.

What You Will Do

You will:

  • Prepare and technically elaborate tickets/RFQ components for Dutch and European customers according to the RFQ process
  • Send quotations and professionally handle customer enquiries regarding service, surveys, commissioning, and installations, including customer follow-up.
  • Work within sales authorizations and pricing guidelines, aligning with Sales, Technical Support, Logistics, and/or the Inside Sales Team Lead when needed.
  • Calculate cost prices based on customer requirements and technical specifications.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information and documentation in Zendesk and Business Central for smooth handover to Operations.
  • Coordinate with the Technical Support Team to ensure correct part selection and register relevant customer feedback in SharePoint.

  • What You Bring

    Required

  • Experience in a customer-facing, sales support, inside sales, or service coordination environment
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, both written and spoken
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a customer-focused mindset
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into suitable solutions
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities accurately and efficiently
  • Preferred

  • Experience preparing quotations, RFQs, and technical or service-related proposals
  • Experience working with CRM and ERP systems, preferably Zendesk and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Experience in the maritime, technical, or international service industry
  • Interest in developing commercial and technical knowledge within the maritime sector

    Salary

    Between 3.872,13 EUR‬‭ – 5.486,37 EUR‬‭
    Monthly, and is depending on relevant skills, experience, role level and internal pay framework.
