Purpose
As a Senior Project Control Engineer, you plan, schedule, budget, and monitor SBM projects, ensuring success on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Planning and Scheduling: Develop, maintain, and oversee detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Cost Control: Prepare, monitor, update, and oversee project budgets; track expenditures and analyze variances.
- Progress Monitoring: Collect and analyze data to assess project performance; produce regular progress reports.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies; implement contingency plans.
- Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure alignment.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, budgets, progress reports, and change orders.
- Compliance: Ensure all project activities comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies.
- Mentoring: Mentor junior Project Control Engineers and support their development.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
Experience
- • 5+ years experience in Project Controls within the oil and gas industry.
- • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
- • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- • Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
