They are leaders in Floating Production Storage Offloading systems, exploring new frontiers like floating wind and carbon‑cutting tech with expert capabilities and a unique, full‑lifecycle value proposition. /p h3Position: Senior Mechanical Equipment Engineer /h3 pbType: /b Contract /p pbPay: /b Based on experience /p h3Job Overview /h3 pThe Senior Mechanical Equipment Engineer’s purpose is to design and engineer solutions that achieve high standards of safety, reliability, and sustainability, thereby contributing to the projects and organization’s strategic objectives and long‑term success. /p h3Responsibilities of the role will include /h3 ul liYou are responsible for the selection of methods and procedures, performance of the work, and optimization of the design within the scope of the specifications, in compliance with international codes, company and industry standards and regulations. /li liYou are responsible for proactively planning and completing activities and deliverables within agreed time frame and budget, as well as for ensuring system interfaces. /li liYou ensure that your Scope of Work is delivered in accordance with both the contractual requirements and SBM’s internal requirements. /li liYou ensure applicable lessons learned are used, understanding the change impact within and across project system boundaries. /li liYou coordinate with vendors, subcontractors and third parties, in accordance with contractual requirements and SBM’s internal requirements. /li liYou may be assigned as a Package Engineer with technical responsibility for the design, procurement and manufacture of the Package. /li liYou start leading engineers on assigned scope of work /li liYou may act as Discipline Lead for an assigned scope of work. /li /ul h3Job Requirements /h3 ul liBachelor of Engineering / Degree of relevant studies /li liBetween 5 to 10 years of experience in Oil Gas Industry /li liExperience in Engineering design and calculation tools, Mechanical Static Equipment, Systems Engineering, Inspection, testing, commissioning and monitoring, Package engineering and manufacturing Reliability, operability and safety /li liMust have good communication skills /li liProficiency in interacting with multidisciplinary profiles /li liGood with problem solving /li liFluency in English is a must /li liMust have Leadership qualities /li /ul h3Empowering Business.
