Overview
Sales Engineer – Maritime IT Solutions (MITS) at Alphatron Marine. Full‑time role in Rotterdam, combining technical and commercial expertise to drive maritime IT and communication solutions on board of vessels.
Responsibilities
- Translate customer requirements into technical and commercial proposals for IT‑ and communication systems on board ships, including IP camera systems (CCTV), satellite communication and entertainment systems.
- Collaborate closely with sales and engineering team members in field service to provide accurate and timely information to customers via email or phone.
- Prepare clear and complete offers in cooperation with the Sales Manager, ensuring alignment with customer expectations.
- Manage customer expectations and anticipate technical needs during the pre‑sales process, ensuring smooth project execution from the front end.
Qualifications
- MBO‑level education with technical affinity.
- Interest in maritime technology and systems.
- Experience in commercial inside sales is a pre‑requisite.
- Strong ability to translate customer information into clear offers.
- Accurate, solution‑oriented and customer‑focused work style.
- Excellent command of Dutch and English.
