We are currently hiring a Regional Sales Manager to focus on the continued growth and expansion of our Europe and Africa Region for Chemical Analysis Product Lines. The RSM will drive growth in the market segment through indirect management of sales. They will be expected to achieve/exceed sales and growth targets for the market segment from a leadership perspective as well as growing and managing a personal book of business/revenue. The role will need to interact constructively with others across functional lines of responsibility and will be part of the global sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Meet/Exceed assigned quarterly and yearly regional sales target
- Increase revenue and margin level for each representative and distribution channel
- Coordinate and manage customer interface process including project bids, quotes, and customer delivery
- Analyze and control expenditures to meet budgetary requirements
- Anticipate and analyze customer (current and future trends) needs, industry market segment trends
- Execute market and segment growth strategy
- Conduct territory data analysis
- Identify new projects and lead pursuit efforts involving sales channel, end users in close cooperation with the PAC global Project management team
- Implement project and opportunity forecasting, own territory sales funnel
- Launch new products in the territory
- Provide information and intelligence for new products and solutions
- Provide customer and channel relationship management
Channel Management Goals:
- Direct Regional Sales Management to increase revenue and margin level for each representative and distribution channel
- Establish, manage, and monitor channel goals and provide ongoing channel performance feedback
- Conduct channel selection, termination, and consolidation when required
- Train sales channels in company products and launch new products in the territory
- Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience:
- BS degree in Chemistry and/or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of experience within market segment/industry
- Selling experience in B2B environment
- Additional work-related coursework or certification a plus
- Excellent oral, written, verbal interpersonal and presentation communication skills in national language and English
- Solid working knowledge of assigned market segment/industry; excellent project management, analytical, and organizational skills
- Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Office products, solid presentation skills including the ability to explain complex technologies and product features
