As a QA Engineer, your key role will involve the application and advancement of Quality Engineering practices in line with established best practices, principles, and standards. Your focus will be on identifying and mitigating product risks and interdependencies throughout the product lifecycle within and across product teams. In this capacity, you will be tasked with finding connections and synergies, while also serving as a technical advisor and collaborator for the engineering, product, and other business stakeholders. This position is critical for enhancing quality engineering processes and identifying efficiencies throughout the product delivery system.
Drive Quality Delivery : Ensure timely delivery of QA solutions aligned with enterprise standards, including planning, estimation, and structured execution.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally : Work closely with developers, product owners, analysts, and architects to meet client expectations and foster team alignment.
Test Automation : Design and implement scalable, standards-compliant automation frameworks integrated into DevOps pipelines.
Refine Requirements & Backlogs : Break down complex requirements, define test estimates, and contribute to backlog refinement and planning.
Continuously Improve Processes : Participate in retrospectives and agile practices to drive efficiency and high-quality outputs.
Resolve Issues Proactively : Accurately log defects, support root cause analysis, and collaborate for timely resolution to minimize risk and cost.
- Programming (OOP)
- Java /C# development knowledge Python is a plus
- Automation testing using playwright
- Agile methodology and working in agile teams
- Git
- Testing of Services using automation tools such as Rest Assured and Pytest
- BDD Cucumber/spec flow
- Exposure to Cloud technology
- Exposure to performance testing using Jmeter or similar
You will join the VPP Asset Optimization team and collaborate with other cross-functional product teams. Your work will directly support Eneco’s trading operations and long-term sustainability goals.
