Your Responsibilities
- Obtaining suitable offers during the tender and execution phases of the project, such as raw materials, semi‑finished products, contracting for production and/or assembly.
- Managing and controlling the procurement process, such as strategic sourcing, supplier evaluation, and selection.
- Managing the vendor qualification process, negotiating, and contracting with suppliers and subcontractors along with handling non‑conformities and any resulting potential claims.
- Supporting further developing the procurement order process and contract administration.
- Initiating Supplier Performance Management, aiming to improve operational supplier performance.
- Supplier Relationship Management: managing supplier risks, developing suppliers, conducting supplier audits, and coordinating supplier or part or component qualifications.
- Managing projects or processes, working independently with limited supervision, coaching, and assessing the work of professionals from SCM or other stakeholders.
- Utilizing and applying continuous improvement processes.
- Developing and improving a strategic supplier portfolio based on various commodities.
- Engaging closely with our European SCM hub.
- Working closely and intensively with functions such as engineering, HSE, QA, and Project Management.
Your Background
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in supply chain and/or project procurement.
- Senior Professional applying proven knowledge in the field, typically acquired through specific education or training (such as NEVI) and work experience.
- Affinity with technology, such as electrical or electromechanical manufacturing, is considered a plus.
- Knowledge of the market and suppliers with excellent negotiation skills.
- Must be able to clearly communicate supply chain objectives and deliver results.
- Strong teamwork, able to combine strategic thinking with tactical daily work.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and proficiency in SAP is a plus.
- Fluency in English both written and verbal with Dutch native speaker.
