Overview
In this role you support safe, reliable, and efficient production at Botlek, collaborating with the Operations team to boost plant performance. You drive operational activities, participate in continuous improvement, and assist with commissioning and start-up of new facilities and projects. A broad scope in a large industrial site offers leadership growth and hands-on problem solving in a complex environment. You help ensure safety and reliability while contributing to energy transition initiatives and hydrogen production.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Support daily plant operations to maintain safety, reliability, and efficiency
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational, process, and equipment issues
- Coordinate activities with maintenance and engineering teams
- Monitor performance and identify improvement opportunities
- Lead and support productivity and reliability initiatives
- Participate in Management of Change (MOC) processes
- Support audits, inspections, and compliance activities
- Coordinate follow-up actions from incident investigations
- Collaborate with customers on technical and supply-related matters
- Assist commissioning and start-up activities for new installations and projects
- Act as deputy for the Plant Supervisor when required
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Degree in Engineering (Bachelor’s or Master’s)
- Experience in commissioning and operations, production, or engineering in chemical/industrial gas/oil & gas sectors
- Knowledge of industrial gas processes (e.g., hydrogen, syngas, CO, ammonia)
- Ability to work with operators, maintenance, engineers, contractors, customers, and others
- Strong computer skills; SAP familiarity is advantageous
- Proficient in Dutch and English communication
- Structured, hands-on approach; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
