pYour role /ppIn this position, you will be responsible for leading the LTL and crossdock activities, with a strong focus on efficiency, profitability, customer service, and market expansion. You will ensure that service levels meet customer expectations and that key performance indicators are accurate, monitored, and reported in a timely manner. Additionally, you will manage the day-to-day activities of the LTL team to ensure consistent and effective execution. /ppKey responsibilities /ppYou will play an active role in the development of the product, through operational expertise and across the departmental collaboration. /pulliDrive targeted volume growth to strengthen the LTL product and overall PL performance, working closely with your team and commercial stakeholders. /liliEnsure operational activities are executed efficiently and effectively, identifying opportunities to improve margins (e.g. co-loading). /liliLead continuous improvement initiatives to further develop and enhance the LTL service offering. /liliTake direct management and responsibility for the cross-dock operations. /liliMaintain clear and effective communication with all relevant stakeholders to achieve optimal performance and maximise returns. /liliActively collaborate across departments, contributing to trailer management and supporting wider business activities. /li /ulpYour profile /pulliGood command of English and Dutch language. /liliStrong commercial mindset. /liliMinimum of 5 years’ experience in European road transport, preferably in LTL part-load distribution. /liliProven knowledge of cross-dock operations, trailer activities, and customer service processes. /liliSelf-starter with a hands-on mentality and strong sense of responsibility. /liliCollaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across teams and departments. /li /ulpWho are we? /ppWe are PO Ferrymasters, and we work with some of the largest companies in the world to make sure that their goods get to where they need to on time and efficiently.
