Our client is a manufacturer of industrial machinery for the food industry. Their machinery is constructed in The Netherlands and placed around the EU. They manufacture complete production lines all to the design of their clients.The demand for their machines is rising, so they are looking for a medior engineer to join their team.Your main tasks and responsibilities are:Designing, programming, and implementing (PLC) control systems for our advanced machines and systems.Work preparation by providing I/O lists and electrical diagrams for purchasing and production.Test running and testing the machines at Votech.Supporting the installation and commissioning of our systems at customer sites.Coordinating other software-related options and requirements at customer sites. You will do this together with sales, service, or project management.Working with a team of multidisciplinary experts to develop innovative solutions.What you bring:You have a passion for technology and (industrial) automation.You have an MBO or HBO degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, or a similar field.You have 3-5 years of experience in an industrial environment and have worked with programming languages such as Sigmatek, Siemens, Allen-Bradley, or similar.You are curious about developments in areas such as IoT, UX, HTML, etc.You are proactive, independent, take initiative, and are decisive.You are a team player who enjoys working together to achieve the best results.You have good communication skills and are fluent in English.You are willing to travel occasionally for work at customer locations.Seniority level AssociateEmployment type Full-timeJob function Industrial Machinery Manufacturing, Automation Machinery Manufacturing, and Machinery Manufacturing#J-18808-Ljbffr
