Overview
In this role you assess ship design drawings with a focus on electrical systems and automation, supporting a wide range of vessel types. You collaborate with an international BV network to ensure designs meet class rules and statutory regulations while remaining practically feasible. You will respond to maritime regulatory queries and contribute to projects from new builds to renovations. This position offers a technical, global environment where you shape safe, compliant maritime outcomes.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Assess design drawings of ships focusing on Electrical Systems and Automation
- Cover a broad range of vessel types in your evaluations
- Answer maritime regulatory questions for customers
- Serve as a point of contact for BV colleagues internationally
- Collaborate with shipyards, engineering firms and ship owners
- Ensure designs meet required regulations and are practically feasible
- Support both new construction and renovation projects
- Work in a cross-functional, international team to deliver service excellence
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Bachelor or Master in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Experience in the maritime sector; ship design experience is a plus
- Ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
- Dutch and English language proficiency
- Ability to manage multiple projects and switch between tasks
