Overview
As Market Development Manager for Eastman’s Specialty Fluids HTF business, you will drive growth by shaping markets, opportunities, and strategies. You’ll lead front-end innovation and manage Stage-Gate projects from opportunity to commercialization, partnering with Sales and cross-functional teams to convert opportunities into wins. You’ll develop market activation plans, value propositions, and technical collateral while building HTF market expertise through direct customer engagement. This role combines strategic marketing, project management, and market insight to advance Eastman’s growth and sustainability agenda.

- Assess markets, applications, customers, and value chains to identify growth opportunities
- Develop and maintain addressable market/application maps
- Lead front-end innovation (I2C) using market research and project management
- Manage Stage-Gate projects from opportunity to commercialization (EBME)
- Develop market activation plans, value propositions, and Economic Value Estimates
- Collaborate with Sales to advance leads and convert opportunities into commercial wins
- Support SAGE digital tool implementation (lead management)
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to integrate marketing strategies and feedback loops with Sales
- Refine existing offers and customer segment mapping
- Track key metrics: Market Development & Innovation index, Vitality Index, Net New Business
- Lead Campaign Factory activities and support segment routines
- Develop technical collateral, competitive benchmarks, and training programs
- Build HTF application and market expertise through industry engagement
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Bachelor in Science, Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred
- 8+ years of experience in engineering, marketing, business development, product management, or commercial roles
- Proven ability to identify and commercialize growth opportunities in B2B environments
- Experience in heat transfer fluids or related market preferred
- Strong analytical, market research, project management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- English required; other languages beneficial
