Responsibilities
- You are accountable for the selection of methods and procedures, performance of the work, and optimization of the design within the discipline scope of the specifications, in compliance with international codes, company and industry standards and regulations.
- You are accountable for proactively planning and completing discipline activities and deliverables within the agreed time frame and budget.
- You are responsible for defining and managing the discipline resource needs for your project.
- You ensure that the discipline Scope of Work is delivered in accordance with both the contractual requirements and SBM’s internal requirements.
- You are responsible for capturing lessons learned, understanding the change impact within and across project system boundaries.
- You are responsible for managing discipline interfaces, including third parties where applicable (clients, subcontractors, vendors, classification societies, and regulatory bodies).
- You may act as Principal for an assigned scope of work and/or may be designated as a Technical Expert (TE) and/or Engineering Method Authority.
Education and Experience
- 10 to 15 years in Oil & Gas Industry
Engineering design and calculation tools, detailed design, package engineering and manufacturing, marine, reliability, operability and safety, sub-contracting, analysis, hazards and effects management (including formal safety assessment), planning.
