Your responsibilities
As Manager Fund Accounting, you play a critical role in the success of our business. You will be part of a dynamic and fast-growing team of fund experts, reporting directly to the Director Fund Accounting. On a typical day, you will work on a wide range of diverse and varied projects including:
- Oversight and coordination of all client deliverables within your portfolio, according to operating memoranda/SLA’s. Deliverables include, but are not limited to:
- Maintenance of general ledgers, sub-ledgers, and trial balances for multiple international fund clients, according to various accounting standards (typically IFRS, Lux GAAP, US GAAP)
- Periodic Net Asset Value calculations, including accrual bookings, reconciliations, and fee calculations
- Financial statements (annual)
- Various tax deliverables (VAT, CIT, Subscription Tax, etc.)
- Periodic regulatory reporting to local regulators (BCL and CSSF)
- Assisting supervisors in review-related tasks when necessary
- Working closely with internal and external parties to ensure deadlines are met and quality is maintained
- Being the primary contact for clients regarding feedback on business-as-usual operations, improvement ideas, knowledge sharing, escalated operational issues, and client queries
- Preparing, reviewing, and coordinating internal senior management requests, reporting, KPI queries, staff time tracking, payment of invoices, and overall status updates on your client portfolio
- Actively recruiting, coaching, and training staff on all required elements of the job
- Preparing and coordinating regular staff feedback and appraisal meetings
- Collaborating with implementation and onboarding teams for document review and setup of new client entities
- Escalating and coordinating identified team/client needs and improvement points to continuously develop the fund services team
- Participating as a core team member to uphold our reputation as a leading provider in fund and corporate services
Your profile
We are looking for individuals who:

- Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or an equivalent field
- Have 7+ years of relevant experience in fund services and at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Are fluent in English, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus
