We are expanding our IT team and are excited to welcome an IT professional to our talented and committed team in Rotterdam.

We are seeking a ITSM Application Specialist to manage and support our IT Service Management (ITSM) tool, Xurrent (formerly 4me). You will be responsible for configuring, optimizing, and maintaining the platform to align with our ITIL-based service delivery processes. This role requires strong technical expertise, ITIL knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders to enhance service management efficiency. To strengthen our team, we are looking for our new: 

ITSM Application Specialist 

In this role, you will report to the Head of Infrastructure and Networking, working alongside five other specialized experts and colleagues. You will have a dedicated scope of responsibility and will oversee the European region from your role with diverse stakeholders in the different Business Units.

The tasks and responsibilities are:

  • Maintain and configure the Xurrent ITSM application to support ITSM processes such as Incident, Problem, Change, and Request Management. 
  • Manage user permissions. 
  • Design and optimize workflows, automation rules, and integrations to enhance IT service delivery. 
  • Develop dashboards and reports to track KPIs, SLA compliance, and service performance. 
  • Ensure the ITSM tool aligns with ITIL best practices, supporting Continual Service Improvement (CSI). 
  • Troubleshoot application issues, coordinate with vendors, and apply fixes or patches as needed. 
  • Develop user guides, conduct training sessions, and provide ongoing support to IT staff. 
  • Work with IT leadership, service owners, and end-users to align the ITSM tool with business objectives. 

    • About you 

    We are looking for an enthusiastic and pragmatic person who has the following background and experience: 

  • You have obtained Bachelor in Information Technology or similar. 
  • At least 3 years of working experience ina similar role. 
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Service Request) (ITIL Foundation certification) 
  • Experience administering Xurrent or other ITSM platforms (ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, Jira Service Management, e.g.) 
  • Ability to analyze data, generate reports, and track IT service performance 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills 
  • Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS for customizing UI elements and portals within the ITSM tool
