What Will You Do?
As an Instrumentation Engineer specializing in brownfield projects, you’ll:
- Analyze client specs and as-built documentation for existing installations
- Design and update deliverables for field instrumentation, SCADA/DCS, and telecom systems (CCTV, PAGA, LAN, WiFi)
- Prepare technical specifications, TBE documents, and FAT procedures
- Develop instrumentation documents like cable lists, loop and termination diagrams, layouts, and hook-up drawings
- Evaluate reuse of existing systems and support modification/demolition plans
- Collaborate with other disciplines and maintain close contact with clients
- Provide input for 3D modeling and vendor documentation
What Do You Bring?
- 8+ years of engineering experience, ideally within offshore brownfield projects
- Familiarity with NAM/Shell standards
- Solid offshore experience, especially with oil & gas platforms
- Expertise in:
- Field instrumentation & control/on-off valves
- SCADA/DCS systems
- Telecommunication systems (CCTV, PAGA, LAN, radio, WiFi)
- Fire & Gas detection systems
- Proficient in creating detailed design documentation and engineering deliverables
