We take great pride in protecting the lives and assets of our customers and their communities with the solutions we provide. /p pThe position is hybrid role based in the Amsterdam area. /pbr /pThis position is responsible for supervising the installation team and oversees the installation process including certification, and related customer training on assigned Fire, Security, and/or Building Automation projects. Ensures delivery of projects effectively and within budgeted cost and time schedules. /p pstrongJob Responsibilities: /strong /p ul liSupervises team of Installation colleagues and oversees their work and installations. Supervisory duties include but are not limited to: mentoring, coaching and developing colleagues. May provide feedback and assistance with interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning and directing work, performance management, and project budget. May oversees subcontractor selection process and work. /li liOversees all aspects of the installation project including installation, testing, and repairs. /li liActs as the primary contact with customers and internal colleagues in providing technical installation support and training. Provides training for less experienced Electrical Installers. Handles the more complex issues that may have been escalated from less-experienced colleagues. /li liProvides guidance and training for a wide variety of manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams, and repairs equipment, utilizing advanced knowledge of electronics and using standard test instruments and hand tools. /li liMay provide installation assistance as needed /li liAccountable for maximizing customer satisfaction. Acts as “our customer's best service provider” at all times thereby ensuring Convergint Technologies is the customer's first choice for service. Takes ownership of onsite project including safety, quality and performance. Observes and practices Convergint Quality Standards. /li liIdentifies opportunities for improvement including suggestions for installation methods to improve profitability and quality. /li liWorks closely with the Project Manager and/or Operations Manager and assists in the overall coordination of installations; br / makes recommendations regarding quality of work and potential changes in scope, and identifies ways to continuously improve customer satisfaction. /li liPerforms other duties and responsibilities as requested or required. /li /ulbr /pstrongJob Skills Requirements: /strong /p ul liMinimum of five years of previous, relevant field experience required /li liFluent English /li liPrevious supervisor experience desired /li liPrevious construction experience including some level of electrical or a low voltage background /li liExperience in one or more of the following industries preferred: electronic/electrical, fire alarm life safety, data-cable installation and/or building automation /li liProficient construction skills and understanding of system plans /li liExcellent understanding of blueprints, design drawings including wiring and labeling methods, system wiring, wiring methods, and cable support installation (J-Hook, Raceway, Conduit, Cable Support) /li liVery familiar with basic blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to determine installation procedures unassisted /li liBasic technical programming skills /li liExcellent customer focus and ability to work under pressure; br / ability to maintain awareness of, and seek to meet the needs and wants of the customer without being prompted /li liStrong mechanical and electrical aptitude (e.G. works with a variety of hand and power tools such as drill, screwdriver, wire stripper, hacksaw, crimper) and ability to read blueprints and drawings; br / solid math skills (for some positions, this may include calculating area, velocity, resistance, voltage, etc.) /li liStrong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills /li liMust have valid driver's license with a clean driving record /li /ul pstrongEducation Requirements: /strong /p ul liHigh School diploma or equivalent /li liRelevant trade designation (e.G.
