Annapurna are currently supporting a global client to appoint a seasoned Industrial Relations Business Partner to play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering industrial relations strategy across Europe.
You’ll act as a trusted advisor to HR and business leaders, leading complex works council consultations, union negotiations, and organisational change activity in multiple countries – including Germany, the Netherlands, France, Spain, and the UK.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead works council and union consultations on business change, tech implementation, and collective bargaining.
- Navigate European IR legislation (especially across The Netherlands and Germany) and ensure full compliance.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with employee representatives.
- Partner with senior HR and business stakeholders to proactively manage IR risks.
- Help shape and modernise the organisation’s approach to industrial relations across the region.
What We’re Looking For:
- Deep expertise in European IR, including hands-on experience with Works Councils and unions.
- Strong knowledge of Dutch and German labour law, plus at least one other European market.
- Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to complex negotiations.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and act as deputy to the Global IR Director.
