JOB PURPOSE:
The Supply Chain Finance Analyst is responsible for managing the core reporting processes of the European Supply Chain in close cooperation with the Supply Chain FP&A Manager, ensuring a timely and accurate delivery of monthly results as well as forecast information and performance headlines.
The role is interacting with multiple stakeholders within the broader Supply Chain Finance and Supply Chain Financial Services teams to enable the relevant performance discussions.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Based in Amsterdam, the Supply Chain Finance FP&A Analyst Europe is responsible for:
- Managing the core reporting processes of the European Supply Chain, including Actuals and Forecast for Ice Cream Europe.
- Coordinating information flow between Supply Chain BU Finance and Supply Chain Financial Services teams & holding them accountable for timeliness and quality of information.
- Continuous improvement of processes and analytical tools to create better insights faster.
- Drive consolidation of all different functions within SC and ensure full P&L completeness.
- Full reporting of SC results, comparing to Prior Year, Latest Forecast and Budget and be able to clarify the variations and actions to be taken.
- Ensure proper clarity is provided in the reporting, always simplifying the message to stakeholders in words and presentations.
- Pro-actively look for improvements in the process and business opportunities and confidently challenge the business owners.
- Provide expertise and support in Supply Chain Finance projects.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Reporting fundamentals: knowledge/experience in financial analytics, reporting and forecasting with large data sets.
- A natural passion for understanding processes end-to-end.
- Excel skills a must and experience with reporting systems in large businesses is a plus.
- Relevant experience with GMVA/Cost Contribution and Supply Chain Finance is a plus.
- Hands-on mentality to ensure things get done and holding self & others accountable.
- Communication skills: able to present effectively and to translate technical results into business insights.
- Networking skills: able to work remotely with numerous stakeholders and to develop with them collaborative relationships.
