As a Full Stack Developer At Arup, You Will Take ownership of end-to-end feature development—designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, user-friendly web applications that support our digital and engineering projects. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to understand user needs, contribute to technical architecture decisions, and integrate platforms with other digital services. You’ll also use 3D and spatial data visualization to make complex datasets accessible and actionable. Mentor junior developers and help build a strong engineering culture through knowledge sharing, pair programming, and leadership in best practices. Ensure high-quality, secure, and reliable software through participation in code reviews, testing, and DevOps processes. Stay at the forefront of innovation by engaging in research and experimentation with emerging technologies, while also contributing technical expertise to bids, proposals, and client discussions. Proven full stack development expertise (around 5 years) with experience in both front-end (React, Next.Js, Python, .Experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL), APIs, and cloud services (e.G., Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and automated testing. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead and inspire small technical teams. Knowledge of spatial and 3D data visualization tools is a strong plus.
