In this job you will have a focus on:
- Quarterly reporting for Solvency II and IFRS 17 on the liabilities following from pension products, including explaining movements to management and stakeholders.
- Improve the quality of our financial reporting through good knowledge of our products, models, and assumptions.
- Support the integration of different reporting frameworks like SII and IFRS 17.
- Support the transition to a more automated and data-driven reporting process.

Monday: 08:00 – On your way to the office; 09:00 – Personal welcome from your manager; 11:00 – Pick up materials at IT Service Desk; 12:30 – Lunch; 14:30 – Meeting with the team; 17:30 – Head home.
Tuesday: 08:00 – Heading to the office; 09:30 – Onboarding session: Welcome at NN! with info about NN and the ‘care, clear & commit’ values; 12:30 – Lunch; 15:00 – IT onboarding session; 17:30 – Head home.
Wednesday: 09:15 – Daily start with the team; 10:00 – Hybrid work day (home or office); 12:30 – Walking lunch; 14:00 – Online meetings and emails; 16:00 – Teams meeting with a colleague within NN Group.
Thursday: 08:00 – Heading to the office; 09:30 – Facility Management and HR onboarding; 12:30 – Lunch with colleagues; 14:00 – Online session on security within NN; 17:30 – Head home.
Friday: 08:30 – Wrap up emails and reflect on the week; 12:30 – Finish work on time and enjoy the weekend. The standard workweek at NN is 36 hours.
Wat je meebrengt
We are looking for someone with an actuarial background who enjoys analyzing and reporting financial figures related to pension products. You communicate well with others. Additionally, you have:
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting within the life insurance/pension industry. Knowledge of Solvency II and IFRS 17 is preferred.
- A Master’s degree in a quantitative field (Actuarial Science, Econometrics, Mathematics, Finance, etc.).
- Strong communication skills to explain financial results and collaborate with stakeholders.

The PS liability reporting team consists of about 15 colleagues with diverse nationalities, all with backgrounds in actuarial science or accounting.
We work hybrid at NN, combining remote and on-site work. The official location for this job is Rotterdam, next to the central station.
