The Field Service Coordinator is responsible for selling and maintaining Service Contracts to our customers, planning and scheduling service work, preparing fieldwork for the service engineers, finalizing service workorders and prepare for invoicing, coordinating customer survey distribution and obtaining high customer satisfaction.
The Field Service Coordinator will work on GC and Elemental products in the scope of Chemical Analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Communicate to customers (and occasional customer visits) for selling, developing and maintaining service contracts
- Occasional customer visit performing installations, regular maintenance, calibration at customer site
- Planning and scheduling service technicians for field work
- Preparing service work in ERP (create workorder and arrange service parts).
- Finalizing service workorders and prepare for invoicing.
- Work together with other departments (Finance, Customer Service, Production)
- Coordinating customer survey distribution and obtaining high customer satisfaction (NPS)
- Preventive and corrective maintenance of test apparatus and peripheral equipment in-house.
- Develop agreements, pricing, discounting (within limits).
- Promotes good customer relations at all times.
- Arranges customer site/location requirements allowing Technicians to go on customer site.
- Assists with related special projects, as required.
- Responds to change productively and handles other duties as required.
- Must be able to manage inventory assigned for repairs to ensure accuracy of individual and main warehouse. To ensure inventory is properly documented for transfer before and after Service technician service call.
- Able to travel internationally.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor degree in Chemistry
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in chemistry (analist)
Knowledge & Skills
· Broad minded strategic thinker with proven integrity
· Strong problem-solving skills
· Previous ability to successfully interact with customers
· Proficiency with computer tools, including ERP applications
· Solid working knowledge of industrial service field
· Excellent project management, analytical, and organizational skills
· Excellent in English verbal and written
· Occasional travel required. May require international travel.
