Facility/Maintenance Manager – Maasvlakte
Join us at our Maasvlakte Cold Storage Site. We are hiring a Facility/Maintenance Manager for our advanced cold storage facility, featuring the most advanced cooling systems and technologies in the industry, in a dynamic production environment with many lines, multiple shifts and several hundred people during peak periods.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical services including maintenance of cooling systems, mobile racking, MHE, and packing lines.
- Manage service contracts, SLAs and vendor relationships.
- Oversee maintenance budgets and ensure cost‑effective operations.
- Conduct MHE onboarding tests and in‑house training.
- Perform daily gemba walks to monitor equipment usage and safety.
- Advise on workplace safety and emergency procedures.
- Drive site KPIs and ensure high‑quality technical service delivery.
- Collaborate with procurement and HSSE teams for compliance and alignment.
- Monitor and improve OEE performance through structured downtime analysis and root cause elimination of the state‑of‑the‑art packing lines.
- Drive technical improvement and cost‑saving projects, including energy savings, maintenance efficiency and automation upgrades.
Who we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s or university degree.
- 3+ years’ experience in technical or maintenance management.
- Experience in a multinational environment is a plus.
- Strong technical and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
- Program management experience including budgeting and planning.
- Ability to respond to emergency situations.
- Fluent in Dutch and advanced in English.
- TAPA FSR and ISO certifications are considered an advantage, not a requirement.
