Unity Partners on behalf of our Offshore Renewable Energy partner
We are seeking a proactive Expeditor with a ‘make it happen’ mentality for our esteemed partner in Renewable Energy. In this role, you will play a crucial role in the success of large-scale offshore projects. Your coordination skills will keep projects on track and ensure that obstacles are quickly and efficiently resolved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the central point of contact for monitoring and expediting purchase orders after issuance.
- Track and report delivery progress, ensuring that materials, documents, and services are received on time.
- Proactively identify and resolve delays or risks to keep the construction schedule on track.
- Organize and lead kick-off, pre-inspection, and progress meetings with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate inspection visits and material releases together with the Inspection department.
- Review and follow up on delivery schedules, inspection plans, and progress reports to ensure timely execution.
- Maintain and update progress data in internal systems, ensuring transparency and oversight across the delivery process.
Qualifications:
- A completed HBO degree in a technical field, preferably in process engineering, mechanical engineering, or technical business administration.
- At least 5 years of experience in expediting or supply chain management, preferably in the offshore or energy sector.
- Strong organisational and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of technical documentation and procurement processes.
- Experience in preparing and monitoring progress reports.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
