Responsibilities:

  1. Planning and organizing events such as congresses, meetings, and webinars.
  2. Managing budgets and financial planning.
  3. Handling event communication and coordination.
  4. Overseeing the setup, execution, and breakdown of events.
  5. Collecting and analyzing feedback for continuous improvement.

Project Context:

The role is within the IBDS program, a multi-year initiative focusing on data strategies in government, aiming to enhance societal problem-solving through data utilization. The program collaborates across various government levels and is managed by ICTU for the Ministry of BZK, with an expected duration until 2031.

Expected Outcomes:

  • Organize approximately 1 congress (600 attendees) in February 2026, 6 IBDS cafés, 2 Fieldlabs, and other events through 2026-2027.
  • Ensure logistical, financial, and technical aspects are meticulously managed.

Qualifications:

  • HBO level education or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in event organization within the digital government sector.
  • Availability of at least 16 hours per week.
  • Experience with intergovernmental programs, online events, and fieldlabs is preferred.

Additional Requirements:

  • Proven project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and technical knowledge of event technology.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
