Responsibilities:
- Planning and organizing events such as congresses, meetings, and webinars.
- Managing budgets and financial planning.
- Handling event communication and coordination.
- Overseeing the setup, execution, and breakdown of events.
- Collecting and analyzing feedback for continuous improvement.
Project Context:
The role is within the IBDS program, a multi-year initiative focusing on data strategies in government, aiming to enhance societal problem-solving through data utilization. The program collaborates across various government levels and is managed by ICTU for the Ministry of BZK, with an expected duration until 2031.
Expected Outcomes:
- Organize approximately 1 congress (600 attendees) in February 2026, 6 IBDS cafés, 2 Fieldlabs, and other events through 2026-2027.
- Ensure logistical, financial, and technical aspects are meticulously managed.
Qualifications:
- HBO level education or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in event organization within the digital government sector.
- Availability of at least 16 hours per week.
- Experience with intergovernmental programs, online events, and fieldlabs is preferred.
Additional Requirements:
- Proven project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and technical knowledge of event technology.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
