Your responsibilities
Identifies, analyzes, and resolves faults and disturbances that threaten the availability, reliability, efficiency, environmental performance, and safety of installations and equipment
Supports operational activities, commissioning and decommissioning processes, and testing of installations
Analyzes, evaluates, and reports on asset performance, condition development, and remaining service life of installations and components in relation to operational requirements as well as legal and contractual obligations
Advises on and prepares proposals regarding maintenance philosophies, maintenance strategies, maintenance interventions, operational improvements, and optimization measures; develops overhaul and revision scopes
Provides binding advice based on applicable laws and regulations
Acts, where required, as the (operational) Installation Responsible Person and/or Work Responsible Person
Conducts modification processes and failure investigations/root cause analyses
Initiates, leads, coordinates, and delivers projects, modifications, and technical activities
Prepares contracts with third parties in cooperation with the Procurement department and monitors contract performance and financial settlement
Actively explores innovative developments within the field of expertise, implements them, and promotes their adoption
May be assigned a role during failures, emergencies, and incident response through the on-call duty system
Your profile
Bachelor's degree (HBO level) in Electrical Engineering or Power Engineering
Minimum of 2 years of experience in high-voltage and/or low-voltage systems
STIPEL certification IV/WV NEN3140/3840, or willingness to obtain it
Knowledge of generators, transformers, cables, grid connections, and low- and high-voltage distribution systems, as well as secondary systems such as protection relays, synchronization systems, voltage regulation, switching operations, and secure power supplies
Familiarity with preparing work plans, switching plans, Task Risk Assessments (TRA), and Inspection & Test Plans (ITP)
Ability to work independently; strong communication, coaching, learning agility, critical thinking, and flexibility skills
Strong quality mindset, with the ability to establish clear quality standards and ensure compliance
Strong collaboration skills with both direct colleagues and cross-functional teams
Commercial and entrepreneurial mindset, particularly when contracting and managing suppliers for projects
Strong commitment to health and safety culture, with the ability to challenge and coach colleagues to maintain the highest standards
Fluency in Dutch and English
