We’re working with a leading international engineering consultancy who are looking for a Dutch-speaking Project Engineer (Electrical) to join their growing team in Rotterdam on a permanent, hybrid basis.
The Opportunity
This is not your typical project role. You’ll be:
Setting up and shaping a new electrical engineering function
Working across multiple industrial and infrastructure projects
Acting as the key link between engineering, clients, and government bodies
Playing a hands-on role in design review and technical decision-making

What You’ll Be Doing
Leading and coordinating electrical engineering projects
Reviewing and approving electrical design documentation
Supporting and guiding design activities (HV/LV systems)
Liaising with local authorities and regulatory bodies
Driving project delivery across energy, infrastructure, and industrial sectors
What We’re Looking For
Experience as an Electrical Engineer or Project Engineer
3–15 years’ experience within electrical engineering environments
Strong design background (substations, power systems, or industrial projects)
Ability to operate both technically and commercially
Fluent Dutch speaker (essential)
Someone who wants to build, not just maintain
