E&I Technician – Rotterdam, NetherlandsContract Type: Contract or PermanentLanguage: English (Dutch is a plus)Driving License: RequiredWe are currently seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Technician to join a leading industrial services company supporting various sectors such as petrochemical, energy, and manufacturing. Based in the Rotterdam area, you will play a key role in maintaining and troubleshooting E&I systems to ensure the reliability and safety of plant operations.Responsibilities:Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and instrumentation equipment.Troubleshoot, repair, and calibrate instruments, sensors, and control systems.Carry out inspections, loop checks, and functional testing of systems.Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs.Support commissioning and shutdown/start-up activities as needed.Ensure compliance with safety procedures and industry standards (ATEX, NEN, IEC).Document work performed and maintain accurate maintenance records.Liaise with engineers, supervisors, and other technicians to support plant reliability.Requirements:MBO Level 3 or 4 in Electrical, Instrumentation, or a related technical discipline.Proven experience in a similar E&I technician role within industrial, petrochemical, or process environments.Strong knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems.Familiar with ATEX zones and safety regulations.Able to work independently and within a team.Valid VCA certificate or willing to obtain.Dutch language is a plus, but English-speaking candidates will be considered.Must have a valid driving license.
