Digital Solution Engineering Specialist
Your Challenge
As a
Digital Solutions Engineering Specialist
at ABB in Rotterdam, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of smart, sustainable shipping. You’ll make sure our customers — leading commercial shipping companies — can rely on high-quality data from our innovative platforms
RouteGuard
and
FleetGuard .
You’ll dive deep into data, detect and fix anomalies, and help our digital solutions perform at their very best. Together with international colleagues in the Netherlands and the Philippines, you’ll make data-driven insights that help ships sail safer, cleaner, and more efficiently.
In this role, you will:
Monitor and analyze incoming data to spot patterns and correct deviations.
Continuously improve the quality, accuracy, and reliability of operational data.
Collaborate with international ABB teams to enhance digital services.
Drive the adoption and optimization of ABB’s cutting-edge digital platforms.
You’ll be part of a team that connects technology and sustainability — helping our customers navigate the digital seas of the future.
What You Bring
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in
Electrical Engineering ,
IT ,
Data Engineering , or a related field.
Experience with
data analysis ,
monitoring , or
digital operations .
A structured, analytical mindset with great attention to detail and quality.
Strong communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus).
Willingness to work up to
two weekend shifts per month .
A proactive, hands-on attitude — social, direct, and ready to take ownership.
