As a Critical Facility Engineer, your responsibility is to maintain and ensure the technical operation of all mechanical, electrical, and security systems within the Equinix data centers. You will work closely with subcontractors and support them when needed. Additionally, you will be responsible for coordinating the work, subcontractors, and technical modifications. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to quality, success, and high customer satisfaction. Maintenance of the Technical Facility Management infrastructure (electrical, mechanical, security, control systems, fire and security systems) Participating in various projects from modification to new construction, including drafting technical specifications, evaluating quotes, and providing advice for contract awards Providing daily, weekly, and monthly status reports to the Technical Facility Manager Training new employees and sharing knowledge within the CFE team Minimum completed MBO education or equivalent Demonstrable work experience as a maintenance technician, facility manager, or service engineer Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is required, and Dutch is preferred Willingness to work on-call shifts Based in the Netherlands 27 days of leave with the option to purchase 3 additional days ~ Employee Stock Purchase Plan and Company Pension Plan ~ Comprehensive support for personal development and growth, both in terms of time and financial resources If you are a qualified candidate and need assistance or an accommodation, please let us know by completing this form.
