In this key position within the Benelux Corporate Actuarial Non-Life department, you’ll focus on P&C lines of business, leveraging your expertise in reserving techniques and risk capital calculations. You’ll perform essential actuarial tasks, such as calculating best estimates and risk capital, while preparing comprehensive reports that guide informed decision-making. Collaborate closely with diverse teams and act as a trusted business partner across various departments, bringing fresh perspectives and challenging the status quo.

We count on you for:
- Actuarial Analyses: Conduct analyses to support closing and planning activities.
- Model Development: Develop and maintain models for non-life insurance products.
- Report Preparation: Prepare and present actuarial reports to stakeholders.
- Risk Management: Support the implementation of risk management strategies.

- Data Analysis: Analyze complex data sets to inform decision-making.

What we look for?
We are seeking a proactive and pragmatic actuary with a Master’s degree in Actuarial Science or a relevant quantitative field. You should have strong knowledge of triangle reserving techniques and experience in actuarial reporting or related roles. Proficiency in actuarial software and programming languages (e.g., ResQ, R, Python, SAS) is essential. You must be fluent in English, with proficiency in Dutch or French as a plus. Strong communication skills are crucial, as you will interact with various departments and senior management. Experience with P&C insurance products and risk capital modeling is highly valued.
