Business Analyst An opportunity for an experienced and analytical functional Business Analyst to join the User Management & Contract Management domain within a large financial institution in Amsterdam. In this role, you will help shape and optimise digital processes and services that support secure and seamless customer interactions across web and mobile channels. You will collaborate closely with Product Owners, architects, and development teams to translate stakeholder needs into clear, actionable requirements. This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy working at the intersection of business and technology, have a strong affinity for working in a digital environment, and exposure to customer contact. Key Responsibilities: Gather, analyse, and document high-quality business requirements for user and contract management services. Facilitate workshops, interviews, and customer validations to uncover needs and define optimal digital processes. Create structured process flows, user stories, and functional documentation using tools such as Visio or Draw.Io. Maintain and improve knowledge repositories in Confluence. Keep the portfolio and progress up to date using Azure Boards and Jira Align. Analyse usage patterns, performance indicators, and service connection data to identify improvements. Track trends and propose concrete enhancements for team backlogs. Act as a key liaison between Product Owners, development teams, architects, and other stakeholders. Clearly articulate business concepts to technical audiences and ensure shared understanding across teams. Define and elaborate business value for initiatives to support prioritisation and decision-making. Participate in and organise design-thinking sessions to support innovation and concept development. Required Skills & Experience: ~ Completed HBO/WO degree. ~5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Requirements Engineer in a digital environment. ~ Strong Dutch and English communication skills (written and spoken). ~ Demonstrated experience with digital identification and authentication in a corporate setting. ~ Strong analytical skills with expertise in process modelling, user story creation, and end-to-end requirement documentation. ~ Skilled in customer research and capturing user needs through workshops and interviews. ~ Strong communication skills, able to bridge business and technical perspectives. ~ Proven ability to handle confidential customer data responsibly. ~ Detail-oriented, thorough, and capable of delivering solution descriptions developers can directly implement. ~ Flexible, proactive, and able to manage multiple topics simultaneously.
