In this role, you will work with our customers to ensure successful renewal and retention of existing client contracts. You will demonstrate the value and benefits of Progress products, identify opportunities to increase revenue through up-selling and cross-selling, and act as a trusted partner by advising enterprise customers on various questions and challenges.
This is a hybrid position based in Rotterdam. The office is available for those who prefer to work from there, regularly or occasionally. Candidates must be based in the Netherlands.
Responsibilities:
- Engage in conversations leading to successful renewals, up-sells, win-backs, cross-sells, and referrals, while identifying new business opportunities.
- Reconcile orders with contract parameters, ensuring correct license configurations and pricing.
- Prepare quotes and process orders of varying complexity for proper invoicing.
- Manage sales pipeline by tracking customer activity from prospect to deal closure.
- Maintain an updated sales forecast in Salesforce.com.
- Handle customer inquiries, enhancing their understanding of product attributes, upgrades, and add-ons.
- Collaborate with Sales, Tech Support, Finance, and Product teams to resolve challenges and ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in German and English; additional European languages are a plus.
- Strong command of Excel, capable of interpreting mathematical data.
- Results-oriented with a customer-first approach and eagerness to learn.
- Excellent communication, consultative, and influencing skills.
- Proven team player.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong attention to detail and process improvement skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Background in contract renewals, sales operations, or account management within an enterprise setting.
- Educational background in technology, business, economics, or related fields.
