Overview
As an Accountant Expert in Allianz, you will support multi entity closing under Belgian GAAP, IFRS and Solvency II, ensuring accurate reporting and strong controls. You’ll join the Reporting and Accounting Policies team in Brussels, collaborating with colleagues to drive improvements and simplify processes. You will contribute to key financial statements, disclosures, and regulatory reporting while participating in a major SAP S/4HANA migration and AI-enabled initiatives. This role blends technical accounting with change management in a global, dynamic environment.

Verantwoordelijkheden
- Contribute to Monthly and Quarterly closings under Belgium GAAP, IFRS 9/17 and Solvency II
- Perform key controls including analytical reviews and closing checklists
- Supervise production of annual financial statements with disclosures (SFCR, RSR)
- Contribute to continuous improvement and simplification of processes and controls
- Participate in the SimpliFi project (SAP S/4HANA migration)
- Collaborate daily with Finance, Operations and other departments
- Develop the use of AI within the organization
Belangrijkste vereisten
- Minimum 5 years in Finance and/or insurance (accounting, controlling, actuarial, audit)
- University Master Degree (Accounting, Economics or Finance)
- Excellent written and spoken English and Dutch (minimum B2); French is a plus
- Strong knowledge of IFRS 17/9 and SAP familiarity
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
